What is ITLSA/AEDCI?
The International Trade Law Student Association (ITLSA) / l'Association Étudiante du Droit Commercial International (AÉDCI) is an organization for students at the Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa who are interested in international trade and investment law, and the related linkages to other key areas of policy and law.
ITLSA/AÉDCI is currently in a stage of renewal and plans to build on the Faculty of Law’s unique strengths in international law by creating a student association in an ever-growing field. We aim to serve as a liaison to renowned legal practitioners and academics in this area, and foster discussion on international trade law issues at the Faculty of Law. We also seek to enhance the experience of students interested in international trade law by notifying them of relevant events and activities throughout the year; creating networking opportunities; and sharing resources regarding internships and employment possibilities.
