Elections & General Meeting

Announcing the first ITLSA General Meeting of the 2010-2011 academic year.

Meeting Agenda:

1) The current ITLSA Executive will explain our basic vision for the year

2) Elections will be held for the following positions:
1 Communications Director
2 First-Year Representatives
* All candidates should be prepared to speak for 30 seconds or so about why you are suitable for the position.

3) Formation of event committees
We are committed to providing opportunities for meaningful participation to many members as possible, so even if you are not able to become an executive member we hope you will participate in the planning of special events.
* Volunteers are needed for various event committees, i.e. Career Panel, etc.
* Canada-EU Trade Negotiation Simulation Competition put on by Carleton's Centre for Trade Policy and Law November 4th and 5th

This year, the ITLSA would also like to put together at least two teams for the upcoming Canada-EU Trade Negotiation Simulation Competition on November 4th and 5th at Carleton U. This will also be discussed at the meeting. Stay tuned for more information regarding this.
