CANADA-EU (CETA) TRADE PANEL AND RECEPTION

This October, Ottawa is will play host to the next round of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) Negotiations!

International Commercial and Trade Law Student Association (ICTLSA) is hosting a panel discussion and reception at Fauteux Hall to coincide with these negotiations. Join us as we learn about the negotiating process from the perspectives of the European Union, the Canadian federal government, and the provinces of Canada.

WHO: We are honoured to announce that the following distinguished speakers will form the panel for this event:

HE Matthias Brinkmann, Ambassador and HOM of the EU Delegation

The Hon. Pierre Marc Johnson GOQ, Chief Negotiator for Québec and former Premier of Québec

Chris Cochlin, Partner, Cassidy Levy Kent LLP

WHEN : Thursday, 20 October 2011. Panel from 430 to 5:30pm, reception from 5:30 to 6:30pm.

WHERE : FTX 359, reception to follow in the Tsampalieros Atrium. Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
